The Block Devils have returned to their headquarters after an unforgettable tour of Japan, where they were protagonists of the 2025 World Challenge Series, an event filled with numerous institutional and promotional events for the club that attracted the world’s attention!
Two victories over the Japanese champions Suntory Sunbirs in a packed Ariake Arena in Tokyo, with over 28,000 spectators in two days. This promotional tour brought Perugia’s name to the world, bringing the club international recognition. This was sealed with a reception at the Italian Embassy in Japan, at the end of which a promise was made: to return next year!
Back in Perugia, it’s time to focus on the imminent start of the season: a busy week awaits Angelo Lorenzetti’s men, who will take to the field in the first regular-season Superleague game on Tuesday, October 21st, at 8:30 PM, at the Opiquad Arena in Monza. Their first home game will be on Sunday, October 26th, also in the late evening, at the Perugia sports hall, where the floodlights will turn on at 8:30 PM for the big match of the second day, against Cucine Lube Civitanova.
