This will be Marco Bragatto’s second season in Serie A2, his first with Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena after his time in Cantù. The 1997-born Ferrara-born center, standing at 196 cm, finished last season in Brianza with 184 points in 26 matches played on the taraflex, a season that ended with the Cantù team staying up: his seasonal attack percentage was 55.2%, while he achieved 53 blocks.

“I’ve been keeping myself in good shape,” he said, just a few days before the team’s training camp and the start of practice. “I also trained in the summer, but this is part of my job and also my preparation, since I studied Sports Science. I’ve also dedicated some time to leisure: now I’m at home, where I’m spending the last few days before the team’s training camp.”

Bragatto has prepared well for an important season: “It’s going to be a challenging season for me,” the middle blocker says. “I met with coach Francesco Petrella this summer and we talked. I’m excited and happy; I’ll be teaming up with players I’ve watched on television in the past. I think the roster has been put together well. The coach is very meticulous and a true fan of this sport.”
