After their first preseason test last Saturday, which ended in a draw with two sets each against Ravenna, Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena is preparing for the first international Città di Santa Croce – Memorial Piero Conservi tournament, which will be played on Saturday and Sunday at the PalaParenti.

Last Saturday at the PalaCosta in Ravenna, the Tuscan team showed strong performances, with the chemistry between the players coached by Francesco Petrella growing and improving. Now the team faces a tough and delicate match, where they will face top-flight teams from various continental championships.

The tournament will kick off on Saturday at 3:30 pm with the presentation of the youth sector. At 5:30 pm, the first semifinal of the tournament will see Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena face Cuneo, who have secured promotion to the Superleague championship. The second semi-final of the tournament will see Greenyard Maaseik, a team from the Belgian Serie A (where former player Finoli plays), face off against Arago de Sete, a team from the French Serie A.
