With the first preseason test against Pallavolo Crotone at PalaCalafiore now over, Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria is preparing for its next away match. The spotlight will shift to the Cois Tournament in Sardinia, scheduled for next weekend. While we wait for the start, we gathered libero Saverio De Santis’s impressions.
Saverio, what faces did you see on the PalaCalafiore court this evening?
“Well, I saw old teammates with whom we spent some wonderful times last year, old friendships. And so many young players in whom I saw a great desire to get started and do well this season.”
How much have you missed the PalaCalafiore court these past few months?
“It’s actually been four and a half months, and I miss it so much, especially my beloved “ball-shooter.” I can’t wait to get back on the court for the championship, to give it my all again.”
You’re always very knowledgeable about your opponents and schedule. What do you expect from this group stage?
“I think the level has risen. All the teams are well-equipped, and they’ll definitely all come here to Reggio Calabria to get results. We’ll be ready: training session after training session, we’ll become more and more of a team and have a great season, I’m sure of it.”
