The Block Devils spent the morning performing physical assessments and preventive measures in the gym, before meeting up on the taraflex in the afternoon for their usual technical training. They’re working steadily, gradually increasing the intensity, in these first weeks after the resumption of training. Massimo Colaci, the player who has been at Perugia for the longest time, has been with the group since day one. This year, he’s preparing to play for his ninth consecutive year, setting a personal record for tenure at a single club and also setting a club record: “First of all, nine years is a source of pride for me. I feel good here and I have everything I need to try to do my best. Otherwise, the feeling is always positive these days; there’s great enthusiasm, a desire to succeed, and the younger players who arrive are eager to show off, so from that perspective, it’s pretty simple at this stage. We’ll then need to try to maintain this enthusiasm in the coming months!” But I’m happy with how things are going, there are many boys from the youth teams and from Serie B who are giving us a hand and so for now I’m very happy and satisfied.”
