The new Consoli’s first farewell to its fans could only take place at the Caionvico sports hall, where athletes and staff gathered on Tuesday afternoon, along with sponsors, press, and officials, to welcome the 2025/2026 season and continue the journey that has established the Brescia club as a leading player in the national A2 league for twelve years.
The general mood is a mix of curiosity and enthusiasm for the many new additions, but also for the caliber of the confirmed players in the team led by coaches Zambonardi and Tiberti.
The voices of the key players are eloquent, starting with Oreste Cavuto, in his second season with the white-and-blues and now called upon to wear the captain’s armband:
“I’m proud of this responsibility and I’m happy to take on Tibe’s legacy; I feel it’s an honor! I was close to him last season and was able to pick up some of the little skills I’ll need to manage the team and help them thrive in an environment I know better this year. It will be easier for me to convey my vision of playing and training to my teammates, and I’m very happy to put myself at the service of this group.”
