EnergyTime Campobasso
Now playing in the Serie A3 Credem Banca for the second consecutive season, EnergyTime Campobasso has decided to enter the league with a group of young prospects, along with several veterans called upon to be key players in the squad led by confirmed coach Giuseppe Bua. Remaining from last season, which brought them a relegation following a splendid playoff run, are opposite hitter Michele Morelli, captain (and striker) Gianmarco Rescignano, setter Antonio Del Fra, and libero Mario De Nigris, a youth player. Ten newcomers to the roster include two established players in the category: middle blocker Alessandro Arienti and spiker Alessandro Graziani, as well as a promising talent in Bulgarian winger Kaloyan Valchinov, currently playing for his country’s national team. Middle blocker Diego Bartolini played a key role in the final phase of the season in Serie A2, as well as in the Coppa Italia. Pietro Melato, a product of the Modena youth system, will be the setter, and he will have the opportunity and responsibility of becoming a starter. From the Brugherio youth system, middle blocker Riccardo Aretz, libero Luca Consonni, and spiker Matteo Salvador, the latter returning to Italy after his NCAA experience in the United States, have also joined Molise.
BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte
After staying up through last season’s playoffs, BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte is competing in the Credem Banca Serie A3 for the second consecutive year, their tenth consecutive season in a Serie A tournament (including SuperLega, A2, and A3). Coach Giuseppe Barbone, a trusted figure at the Castellana club, has been in charge for the second year in a row, having also served as assistant coach for many years. The team has undergone radical changes: of the 13 players on the roster, only four have remained: captain Casaro, libero Guadagnini, spiker Iervolino, and setter Cappadona. They are joined by four players from the youth academy (Barretta, Santostasi, and Reale, born in 2007, and Picchi, born in 2008) and five new signings (centers Pasquali, Orlando Boscardini, and Pavani, and strikers Brucini and Chiapello), all born between 2000 and 2004.
With the exception of opposite forward Nicolò Casaro, all members of the squad were born in the 2000s, confirming a project that looks to the future and relies heavily on the enthusiasm of young players.
Green Volley Galatone
Green Volley Galatone is making its Serie A3 Credem Banca debut. Following an exciting season that saw them secure promotion to the third division and the Coppa Italia, they are preparing for a challenging tournament. Staying in the league without worries is the Galatone management’s goal, having assembled a partially revamped roster with some talented young players and rounded out with valuable athletes. Renewed confidence in the coaching staff led by Fabrizio Licchelli and his assistant, Fabio Cozzetto, the first step by the sports management team involved the confirmation of playmakers Kindgard and De Giorgi, middle blockers Musardo, Miraglia, and De Col, fullback Giuliani, and liberos Barone and Muscatello.
Diagonally alongside the Argentine setter is Cuban opposite hitter Padura Diaz, who has played 16 seasons across Serie A1, A2, and A3 and has scored a remarkable 6,693 points. The middle blockers include Lorenzo Caciagli from Conad Reggio Emilia, while nineteen-year-old Luciano Passeri will be an alternative to Padura for the second spot, while the very young Frage, formerly of Diavoli Rosa Brugherio, Cremoni via Romeo Sorrento, and Colaci from Aurispa Lecce (average age 18), will be the hammers at the disposal of the Salento coach.
JV Gioia Del Colle
JV Gioia Del Colle is also competing in the 2025/26 Credem Banca Serie A3 championship. President Gianni D’Elia’s club, after a season of growth and consolidation on the national scene, is preparing for an exciting new chapter in its sporting history, confirming coach Sandro Passaro as its technical director, supported on the bench by assistant coach Francesco Racaniello. The red and white club has built a deep, competitive, and experienced roster, with a balanced mix of talent and solidity. At the helm, play will be directed by the experienced setter Matteo Paris, born in 1983, and the inventive Giuseppe Longo, who has become a key figure for the team. The opposite hitters include Andrea Santangelo, a powerful athlete with impressive offensive reliability, and the young Alessandro Chinello, a promising prospect born in 2006. On the spiker, the JV team builds on the talents of captain Romolo Mariano and Sebastiano Milan, with the return of Felice Sette, winner of the A2 championship, and Leonardo Carta. Height and physicality stand out in the center of the net: Cristian Frumuselu, Sandi Persoglia, and Alberto Marra represent a complete unit, capable of combining international experience, power, and reliability at the block.
Aurispa DFV Lecce
A true revolution has taken place at Aurispa DFV Lecce, which, during the volleyball transfer window, completely overhauled its roster, retaining only spiker Tiziano Mazzone, now in his fourth season with Salento, and coach Giuseppe Ambrosio, who joined last year during the season. The club, which now collaborates with Pallavolo Azzurra di Alessano and Salento Team Volley Tricase, has decided to focus heavily on some top-tier and experienced players for the upcoming Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, pairing them with promising youngsters and talented rookies. In addition to the aforementioned Mazzone, among the four-hitters, Aurispa DFV boasts the talented Luciano Zornetta, as well as the youngsters Simone Orto and Federico Tommasi. The middle blockers are Lorenzo Grottoli, Daniele Mellano, and Edoardo Murabito, all three with deep experience in the category. On defense, we find Francesco Donati, a reliable libero, and the promising Aidan Russo. The direction has been entrusted to the virtuoso Francesco Bernardis and his counterpart Filippo Marsella. Finally, the heavy-handed Alberto Cavasin has been chosen for the opposite position, joined by Riccardo Quarta from Salento. As is usual with the club, there are no stated objectives.
Avimecc Modica
Avimecc Modica is preparing for its seventh consecutive Serie A3 Credem Banca championship, after a relegation, two playoff finishes, another comfortable relegation, and two more strong playoff finishes in the last two seasons. The goal now is to advance past the first round of the playoffs and improve on the results achieved in recent years. The county boys will be led by Enzo Distefano, who has been reinstated, and Manuel Benassi as assistant coach. Alessandra Oggioni will be the scout. The roster includes the confirmed senators, Chillemi, still captain, Nastasi as assistant, Raso, Putini, and Buzzi, as well as the youngsters Barretta, Cipolloni Save, and Pappalardo. The transfer market also brings in the strong spiker Lugli, with considerable experience in Serie A3, and Mariano, both ready to make their mark in Serie A3. Also of interest are the arrival of Bertozzi, who played in recent championships in the States, and the experienced middle blocker Garofolo, returning to Modica, who completes the newcomers. Two very young players, Gianmarco Italia and Davide Tomasi, have also joined the first team. After the management’s hard work to create the perfect environment for achieving the desired goals, it’s time to let the pitch speak for itself and await its verdict.
Gaia Energy Napoli
“True Blue” is the motto under which Gaia Energy Napoli enters its fourth consecutive Serie A3 Credem Banca season. Coach Nello Mosca will lead the Neapolitan team. A significantly revamped and rejuvenated roster with the addition of new players: Lorenzo Piazza, Stefano Ferri, Giacomo Russo, Luca Romano, and Giovanni Balestra will join the returning Filippo Lanciani, Francesco Ardito, Simone Starace, Giuseppe Saccone, Arthur Darmois, and Andrea Volpe, forming a squad that will compete for playoff qualification. While the season ticket campaign continues, Gaia Energy Napoli is increasingly committed to reducing plastic use within the arena. Sport and environmental sustainability are hallmarks of the Neapolitan team, once again at the forefront. After the grand official presentation at the Royal Continental Hotel in Naples, with General Manager Francesco Matano as the star of the evening, the team continues preparations for their first Regular Season match, which will see them play on October 26th at 6:00 pm on the challenging JV Gioia del Colle field, where they will face one of the contenders for the final title.
Domotek Reggio Calabria
After Credem Banca’s promotion from Serie B to Serie A3 and their first year in Serie A3, with a promising run in the league, qualification to the Del Monte® Coppa Italia quarterfinals, and a consistently strong crowd, thanks to a packed PalaCalafiore, Domotek Reggio Calabria will once again set the stage for a resounding success in Reggio Calabria. The city of the Bronzes is increasingly experiencing a wild “Volley-Mania.” The club’s deus ex machina, Antonio Polimeni, confirms his captain, Domenico Laganà, as well as Enrico Lazzaretto, Enrico Guarienti Zappoli, and liberos Saverio De Santis and Massimiliano Lopetrone. There are plenty of new additions, including well-known players and promising youngsters. Former Italian national team player Davide Saitta is moving down a division and moving to setter: the new middle blockers are Luca Presta and Andrea Innocenzi, both coming from Serie A2. Simone Rigirozzo and Francesco Ciaramita round out the lineup. Particular attention is paid to the athletic ambition of young Matteo Mancinelli. Thomas Spinello is the setter coming off the bench, while Giulio Parrini is a young spiker raring to go. The icing on the cake came at the end of the transfer window: Polish opposite hitter Pawel Stabrawa, who played for Palmi for two years, returned to Calabria.
Vidirex Sabaudia
A motivated and well-rounded team, ready to proudly represent the region, is ready to embark on a new adventure in the Credem Banca Serie A3 championship. Viridex Sabaudia has continued its preparation for the upcoming Serie A3 championship and is strengthening the team’s identity with new coach Stefano Beltrame. Lorenzo Fattorini will wear the number 1 jersey, while middle blocker Alessandro Stufano will wear the number 3. The number 5 will go to the other setter, Gabriele Mariani, and spiker Marco Rocco Panciocco will wear the number 6. Middle blocker Enrico Pilotto has chosen the number 7, spiker Andrea Nasari will wear the number 11, while opposite hitter Samuel Onwuelo will wear the number 12, Marco Soncini the number 14, and libero Andrea Rondoni the number 15. Spiker Alessandro Serangeli will wear the number 16, while Armando De Vito will complete the roster with the number 18 at middle blocker. Several new faces have joined the Pontine club: Lorenzo Fattorini is making his Serie A debut, Alessandro Stufano was a key player last year in Reggio Calabria, while Gabriele Mariani and Marco Rocco Panciocco played for Palmi and Lagonegro, respectively. Enrico Pilotto and Andrea Nasari are from Sarroch, while Marco Soncini was a teammate of Stufano.
Terni Volley Academy
Terni Volley Academy, a newly formed club that will compete in the Credem Banca Serie A3 championship, is ready to take on the big-time volleyball game. After intense physical preparation under the watchful eye of head coach Leondino Giombini and assistant coach Cristiano Camardese, the Dragons played friendlies against ErmGroup Altotevere San Giustino, Abba Pineto, and Plus Volleyball Sabaudia, earning the support of the coaching staff. The players from Gianpiero Santini and Francesco Biribanti’s club performed well, demonstrating their ability to compete in a championship with high technical demands. Although the athletes have only been together for a short time, the coach has worked consistently with the group, creating the right team spirit for their debut on October 26th in Sabaudia. The Terni Volley Academy also presented itself to the city with a major show-event featuring the voice of DAZN and sports legend Andrea Zorzi, fueling the already considerable interest among industry insiders and fans in the sports project born in Terni. Good play has already been seen in test matches, and while we await the necessary consistency in combinations, grit and character already appear to be the Dragons’ distinguishing features. Thanks to their team, they could be, in some respects, one of the championship’s revelations.
