The promotion and return of the SuperLega to Cuneo has proven to be a positive boost for Cuneo Volley, which has found new motivators outside of the Cuneo area; new partnerships and numerous interregional season tickets have established the club as a benchmark for men’s volleyball in the Northwest of Italy.

On the athletic front, the MA Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo team has completed its first week of athletic preparation, under the direction of coach Matteo Battocchio, trainer Michele Avico, and the entire technical and physiotherapy staff of the club.

Last Tuesday, before the open-door training session that officially inaugurated the return of men’s volleyball matches to the Cuneo Sports Hall, which was attended by nearly 300 fans and enthusiasts in the stands and by Mayor Patrizia Manassero, the season-opening conference was held, with President Gabriele Costamagna, Sporting Director Paolo Brugiafreddo, and coach Battocchio in attendance.

“As a club, we’ve been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. Having the boys in Cuneo gives everyone a boost. There’s a lot of excitement, but we have to transform it into energy when we step onto the pitch,” President Costamagna began, adding: “We have to save ourselves, but we don’t stop dreaming. This club also thrives on dreams, and we must aim high to raise the bar in all areas.”
