After the last away match, we relive the emotions and feelings of the match with the words of one of the team’s key players, young middle blocker Francesco Ciaramita, who played key minutes and was highly utilized. A mix of disappointment for the result and pride for his reaction, in an interview that already looks ahead to the next important match.
The joy of having played is immense, that’s for sure. However, as Ciaramita himself states, “we could definitely have done a little more as a team.” Despite this, there was no lack of pride in the performance: “There was still a great comeback.” Reflecting on the match against Sabaudia, the middle blocker has no doubts: “It was a very difficult match because the home crowd was obviously in favor of the Sabaudia boys. Playing in that atmosphere was… difficult. But it was a great extra motivation for us to do well, and also having a little home support was exciting.”
