Donovan Dzavoronok will wear the black and white jersey next season, completing the spikers department alongside Semeniuk, Ishikawa and Oleh Plotnytskyi, who he meets again after two seasons together in Monza. In Perugia he also meets Angelo Lorenzetti, who was his coach in the season he played in Trento and in which he won the Championship.
This year for Sir Susa Vim Perugia will be a truly special season because he will take to the court to compete for all the objectives, both in the Italian championship and internationally, with the Club World Cup and the Champions League. President Gino Sirci said that Dzavoronok’s arrival guarantees more chances to compete for all the trophies up for grabs this year: “I don’t think anything has changed in recent years here – the spiker replied – here we always aim to win and that’s also one of the reasons why I wanted to come here, because it’s a club that aims to win every competition and coming in second isn’t enough, so it’s definitely an environment where you can learn a lot, and I like these challenges. I can’t wait to start this new adventure!”
