An unforgettable season, a dream come true and a wave of emotions that rekindled the love for volleyball in Reggio Calabria. Patrizia Pratticò, manager of Domotek Volley and member of the pink trio of the Amaranth management together with Valeria Pellegrino and Palma Spadaro, tells this sporting fairytale.
“It was a season that I will carry in my heart – Pratticò begins -, full of emotions, a succession of incredible moments Sunday after Sunday. We started with the goal of salvation and we almost touched the dream of Serie A2, leaving with our heads held high. The last match was perhaps the most beautiful of all: seeing the PalaCalafiore packed, with all that enthusiasm, was wonderful. Domotek managed to rekindle Reggio Calabria’s passion for volleyball”.
A collective success, as the manager emphasizes: “Everyone gave their contribution, me in my small way, the players, the staff. I thank Mister Antonio Polimeni for the opportunity to be part of this great family».
The “team within the team” Pratticò had a special role: responsible for the field staff, the so-called “dryer” team. “They are wonderful guys,” he says fondly, “tireless, always ready to lend a hand. They won me over from day one. At the last game they wanted a t-shirt with a special dedication and the Domotek logo on the heart: a sign that they will be back next year too.”
