First meeting with Marche journalists and red and white fans in the Hospitality Room of the Eurosuole Forum (6 pm) for French spiker Noa Duflos-Rossi, signed by Cucine Lube Civitanova during the summer transfer window with a three-year contract. Fresh from winning her second Under-19 World Championship title in August, following the 2023 title, but this time as a standout performer, namely as the event’s best spiker, the 2007-born athlete is in Marche to impress and improve. The training sessions have had a positive impact.
The fans were elated, presenting the athlete with a scarf and taking turns to take souvenir photos with the new spiker.
Beppe Cormio (General Manager, Lube Volley):
“Duflos-Rossi is about to celebrate his 18th birthday, but he’s one of those guys who call themselves precocious; he’s already won a lot, always a year or two early, like a month ago with the France U19 team. Obviously, those who work in the transfer market were very interested in him. When I saw him, I was blown away and managed to beat the competition, convincing his club and his father, who also coached him. Sending away a guy whose future was already written wasn’t easy for a team that, thanks in part to him, had finished third in the league.
