On its path towards ever greater environmental sustainability, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza has determinedly continued the E-CO₂ Free Energy project also for the 2023-2024 season. The project launched in 2018 led to the total compensation of CO₂ emissions associated with the company’s sporting activities in 2019.
Starting in 2023, the project will benefit from the technical support of Azzero-CO₂, a sustainability and energy consultancy company founded by Legambiente and Kyoto Club.
Focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the company has adopted concrete and effective measures over the years: use of electric cars, installation of charging stations, introduction of stainless steel water bottles that can be refilled using the Bluebox dispensers located inside the PalabancaSport. These actions are integrated with significant investments to promote the use of energy from renewable sources within the sports facility and the use of gas whose combustion phase has been compensated, thanks to the collaboration with the Main Sponsor Gas Sales Energia.
