The Block Devils also had a double session today, having resumed preparations for the new season since last Wednesday. This morning, they focused on prevention work in the gym and assessments, while in the afternoon, they trained on the Taraflex for the players led by Coach Lorenzetti and the coaching staff. Nine Block Devils are participating in this first phase, with five starters playing for their respective national teams ahead of the World Championships in the Philippines. Training in Perugia since day one are spikers Oleh Plotnytskyi and Donovan Dzavoronok, opposite hitters Wassim Ben Tara and Gabrijel Cvanciger, the two liberos Max Colaci and Marco Gaggini, the very young setter Bryan Argilagos, and the two middle blockers Sebastian Solè and the newcomer Federico Crosato.
The young middle blocker, born in 2022, who has played in Padua for four consecutive seasons, shares his first impressions and his impact on the Perugia arena, which he already knew as an opponent: “It was a different experience than when I came here to play, so it was still a great experience! I took a tour of the city, which is beautiful, and I have to say that the arena truly offers everything a player needs. They train very well there, but I remember he also played very well there.”
