He doesn’t change city, he doesn’t change jersey or even objectives. Enrico Basso has chosen the path of continuity: he will still be a pillar of Belluno Volley, at the center of the net, in the heart of the game. Originally from Padua, he will turn 25 on August 1st and is preparing to face a new season in white and blue, strong of the experience gained in the championship just ended.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT – A year in which he was able to carve out a prominent space for himself: 17 appearances, 67 points scored, with 9 aces, 20 winning blocks. And several performances to frame. One, in particular, last February 2nd in Ancona: 14 total points, 2 winning serves, 4 blocks and an offensive efficiency of 80 percent (8 winning attacks out of 10). A performance that left its mark. Just like the organizational context that Basso found in the shadow of the Dolomites: «The club is committed to guaranteeing its athletes the facilities and equipment needed to play this sport in the best possible conditions – says the middle blocker –. And this aspect pushed me to stay. I like working in a well-organized environment».
BOND – The professional atmosphere, combined with the sense of belonging to the group, has strengthened the bond between the athlete and the club. Although the 2024-2025 season ended with a hint of regret: «It was a positive year overall, even if we just missed out on bringing home at least one title.
