There’s anticipation to see ErmGroup Altotevere in action after more than twenty days of intense preparation, with exactly one month to go until the start of the Credem Banca Serie A3 championship (October 19th). The white-and-blue team’s first outing of the season is scheduled for Friday, September 19th, starting at 8:00 PM, in a joint training session with the newly formed Terni Volley Academy, scheduled for the PalaTerni. This is effectively the only opportunity for the two Umbrian teams in the category to face each other directly, but they have been split into groups and will therefore not face each other in the championship. “We’re working on the physical side, including technical training,” coach Marco Bartolini (pictured right) said on the eve of the match. “We’re doing this primarily in the morning sessions. Clearly, the Terni test will provide an initial indication of the players’ current technical acumen and how they’ll address challenges. One thing is certain: we’ll still play with commitment, because when you go out on the pitch, the spirit of the game prevails no matter what. Favaro won’t be playing due to a muscle strain, while Tesone has an adductor problem, but I believe he’ll recover and will be fully fit.”
