This morning, on the third day of the Volleyball Transfer Market 2025, the Ordinary Assembly of Lega Pallavolo Serie A Clubs took place. Among them was an important development: the handover from Massimo Righi as CEO was made official, handing over the baton to Fabio Fistetto.
Massimo Righi (President of Lega Pallavolo Serie A): “I believe there must be someone capable of pursuing ideas and projects with the same energy I had at the beginning of my term. I have therefore decided to resign as CEO. Over these 25 years, I have had the opportunity to work fruitfully with all of you, and for this I thank you. For continuing the work done so far and providing new impetus to the movement.
Fabio Fistetto (new CEO of Lega Pallavolo Serie A): “It’s not easy to express my emotions right now. I remember the first time I joined Lega Pallavolo Serie A as a young lawyer. For me, it was a dream. I never imagined I’d one day become CEO: this offer fills me with pride. I’ve learned so much from you Presidents and managers. I’ve also learned so much in the last year, working closely with the Lega staff. I’m ready to take on this important responsibility. I know it will be a very challenging task, but I can’t wait to begin this journey.
