And now, a new challenge on the horizon: Yuasa Battery is proud to announce the signing of Marco Falaschi, a Tuscan setter born in 1987, ready to wear the Grotte colors in the 2025/2026 season.
With 219 appearances in the Superleague and 19 in the national team, Falaschi brings with him a suitcase full of technique, tactical intelligence and, above all, a silent but recognized leadership everywhere. Not a new face among many, therefore, but a true “beacon” for coach Ortenzi’s group, with the younger elements who can take him as a point of reference and the more experienced who will find in him a very valid shoulder to lean on to continue writing unforgettable pages in the volleyball history of the Marche club.
Born in Pisa but raised as a volleyball player in Santa Croce sull’Arno, in his twenty-year career at the highest levels Falaschi made his debut in A2 at just sixteen years old with the Lupi, before gaining experience on loan in Serie B between Pescia and Massa, always in his beloved Tuscany.
