Rinascita Volley Lagonegro is pleased to announce the confirmation of Waldo Kantor as Head Coach of the First Team.
The Argentine coach, born in 1960, will continue his journey with the red and white Club with great satisfaction after the extraordinary ride of the season just ended, culminating with the promotion to Serie A2.
“When I signed for Rinascita last November I seized the great opportunity to return to coach in Italy after the last experience in Poland. I still remember with pleasure the very first phone call with President Nicola Carlomagno in May 2023 who offered me the possibility of coaching in Lagonegro, but evidently it was not yet the right time. Fate, then, wanted me here a few months later”, were Kantor’s first words at the time of the reconfirmation.
“I arrived during the season in a very delicate phase for the team and I accepted a challenge that was very stimulating for me. And we all know how it ended. But beyond the final result – continues the coach – I feel rewarded for the choice of coming to Basilicata for having found an environment, a Company and a city very involved in volleyball and this makes working in a serene and calm way”.
