It’s the fourth week of preparation for Sviluppo Sud Catania, and the work continues at a high intensity. The pressure is making itself felt, but the team is already focused on the first game tests, as center Carmelo Gitto explains.
“We’re still working intensely, so the pressure is being felt. We’re entering a week where we’ll undergo our first game tests. There certainly won’t be brilliance on a technical level, but we’ll try to make the most of the work we’ve done so far, knowing that it must be taken with a pinch of salt, as we’re prioritizing physical work.”
A united group, a mix of experience and youth, bodes well for the upcoming season.
“I can definitely tell you,” Gitto continues, “it will be a fun season. We have, in my opinion, an excellent team, a great mix of experience and youth. Right now, we’re having a lot of fun on the pitch, despite the workload.”
