Francesco Petrella is the new head coach of Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena for the next sports season. The coach, born in 1989, with experience as assistant coach in Modena and Trento, and then as first coach in Modena and also in Poland at Psg Stal Nysa, will sit on the bench of the Tuscan club. Overall, Petrella boasts seven seasons as assistant coach in the Superleague, between Modena and Trento, and one experience as head coach in the Superleague on the Modena bench.
The announcement came during the press conference held by the President of Emma Villas Siena, Giammarco Bisogno, the President of Lupi Santa Croce Alberto Lami and the vice president of Emma Villas Siena, Fabio Mechini.
“This is an important reality in the Italian volleyball scene and there is the ambition to do well in the next sports season too – says coach Petrella. – As soon as I had the first contacts with the company I thought that this could be the right choice, and in the end the decision came and let’s say that we quickly found ourselves in agreement. My ambition was to find a company that could allow me to work well”.
