The splendid setting of the Terrazza San Lorenzo, a privileged rooftop in the city of Mantua, served as the backdrop for the presentation to partners and sponsors of Gabbiano Farmamed, which took place last night and has become a traditional start-of-season event.
“We started earlier than usual,” explained president Paolo Fattori, “because we have a largely new team, and the coach decided to leave ten days early. It was right that way; after 4-5 years, a cycle had come to an end: we changed the technical direction and replaced many players, significantly lowering the average age of the team with players who, in some cases, have never played in Serie A3, and others who were on the bench in Serie A2. We did well on Saturday in Modena; the foundations are there; the team has strengthened its wingers and remained unchanged in its central defenders. I’m quite satisfied. The group will be very, very tough.”
