After six intense and emotionally charged seasons, the paths of Belluno Volley and Gonzalo Martinez are parting. But the separation does not erase what they have built together: on and off the field.

Born in 2002, originally from El Trébol, Argentina, Martinez arrived in the Dolomites in 2019. At the time, he was little more than a boy. And the club was playing in Serie B. Over time, however, he has become much more: a point of reference, a symbol of energy, energy and determination.

In the white-blue jersey, he played the libero role to the fullest – and, for a short time, also the wing spiker – putting himself at the service of the team with a spirit of sacrifice. Always ready to fight for every ball, to give his all, to “ignite” the fans thanks to his dives, his saves, his plays, throughout the 112 official appearances in Serie A3: all with Belluno Volley.

Martinez leaves the club, but not the hearts of the fans, who appreciated his attachment to the colors and the unmistakable style with which he played on the taraflex. The club itself bids him farewell with affection and gratitude: “Thank you Gonzalo, for everything you have given. And good luck for the future: volleyball, human and professional.”
