Coach Ivan Tamburello’s women’s team continues its excellent run. After their opening victory against Bologna, they repeated their feat away from the PalaPanini with a 3-0 victory (26-24, 25-17, and 25-16) away against Galaxy Collecchio Parma. The Gialloblù girls, who will return to action on Saturday, October 25th (8:30 PM) in Milan, boasted outstanding performances including 12 points from Beatrice Fornari (the match’s top scorer), 11 from Martina Faietti, and 10 from Carolina Baldoni.
Modena Volley suffered their second consecutive defeat in Serie B and Serie C, both losing 3-0. Nicolò Zanni’s team lost in Monza (Charles Ajayi’s 11 points and Gabriele Gatti and Rodolfo Bonavolta’s six weren’t enough), while Tommaso Manelli’s team lost in Viserba di Rimini. Both teams are now focused on their next away match, aiming to earn their first points of the season: the B team against Zotup Scanzorosciate BG, and the C team against 4 Torri Ferrara.
