Availability is that essential value that doesn’t appear on the scoreboard, yet often decides matches. And Gianluca Loglisci is a faithful guardian of it. In attack, on the second line, in recoveries that leave marks on elbows and knees. Talent and individual quality, yes. But always with the team above all else. This was evident once again in Belluno Volley’s latest outing, when they defeated Monge Gerbaudo Savigliano 3-0 at the VHV Arena thanks to a solid, orderly performance, rich in technical content. “We put in an excellent performance against the Piedmontese,” Loglisci said, “and it wasn’t easy, because they were coming off their first win of the season and had so much enthusiasm.”
DECIMATED – A success that takes on even greater significance when considering the context. The Rhinos showed up to the match in a state of emergency, without Berger and Mozzato, with Corrado at half-strength. Yet, the team’s response was unified and convincing: “We were decimated, but we gritted our teeth and made it. Despite our aches and pains, we remained very organized, especially in the break phase. We applied pressure on serve and maintained great cleanliness even in the changeovers.”
