Ivan Tamburello’s women’s team won again, defeating ASD Polisportiva I Care Re 3-1 at the PalaPanini, securing their fourth consecutive victory after a hard-fought match from start to finish. Erika Corsi scored 19 points and Beatrice Fornari 16. The yellow-and-blue girls thus remain atop the Serie B2 championship’s Group E standings, tied with Hydroplants Soliera 150 with 12 points.
The weekend also saw their first Serie B victory: the young players, led by Nicolò Zanni, defeated Motta&Rossi Asola Remedello with a resounding and convincing 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, and 25-20) at the PalaPanini. Among the best players on the field were Rodolfo Bonavolta (the match’s top scorer with 19 points) and Charles Ajayi (16 points). Finally, Tommaso Manelli’s Under 17 Eccellenza team scored a 3-0 victory against Bologna. Serie C, however, failed to make it 3-1 against Soliera Volley 150.
