It was a memorable weekend for Ivan Tamburello’s women’s team, who secured their third consecutive victory on Saturday evening, defeating Milan 3-0 in a well-played match from start to finish: 25-22, 25-20, and 25-22 were the scores in favor of the yellow-blue team, who hold a perfect score after three matches of the B2 championship.
Nicolò Zanni’s Serie B and Tommaso Manelli’s Serie C, on the other hand, had no chance of winning their first match of the season: both teams were defeated 3-0 away by Zotup Scanzorosciate and 4 Torri Ferrara, respectively. The next matches are on Saturday, November 1st: the B team at 5:30 pm against Motta&Rossi Asola Remedello, and the C team at 8:30 pm against Soliera Volley 150.
Finally, the Under 15 and Under 17 Eccellenza seasons kick off between tomorrow and Wednesday: the U15 team will play Maritain Evolution on Tuesday, October 28th at 6:15 pm, and the U17 team will play Mo.Re. Volley Anderlini on Wednesday, October 29th at 9:00 pm.
