It’s going to be a great weekend for Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena, who are preparing to compete in the first Città di Santa Croce International Tournament – Piero Conservi Memorial. For the Tuscan team, it will be a good test ahead of the start of the championship, after the team coached by Francesco Petrella drew and drew in their first match of this pre-season at the PalaCosta in Ravenna. Last Saturday, Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena and Ravenna won two sets apiece, and their opponents will be in the next Serie A2 tournament.
The Tuscan team’s youth sector presentation will be held at the PalaParenti in Santa Croce sull’Arno on Saturday afternoon, starting at 3:30 PM. The first semifinal of the tournament kicks off at 5:30 p.m., pitting Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena against Cuneo. The Piedmontese team, having won last year’s Serie A2 tournament, is preparing to compete in the Superleague championship. It will therefore be a challenging match for the Tuscan team as they prepare for the start of the championship: coach Francesco Petrella’s team’s Serie A2 tournament begins on October 19th at the Pineto sports hall.
