The Italian champions Itas Trentino men’s team are preparing for the second and third preseason tests at the end of the sixth week of preparation.
At the BTS Arena in Trento, between Friday, September 26th (at 6:00 PM) and Saturday, September 27th (at 4:00 PM), the yellow-blues will hold two joint training sessions with ASV Volleys Dachau, a German team playing in the Bundesliga.
These will be the first two opportunities for fans to see new coach Marcelo Mendez on the Trentino Volley bench, and middle blocker Simon Torwie, who will make his yellow-blue debut against the team he faced until last season in the German league. Joining Torwie, fresh from his participation in the 2025 World Championship in the Philippines, will be all the players who have completed the first forty days of training, including some young players from UniTrento Volley and Matey Kaziyski. For the Argentine coach, who arrived in Trento on Tuesday, this will be a very useful double appointment to test the fitness of Acquarone, Bristot, Ramon, Sandu, Pesaresi, and Laurenzano, while waiting for Bartha, Faure, and Flavio to join the group starting next week.
