BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte’s preseason kicks off next weekend ahead of the upcoming Credem Banca men’s national Serie A3 volleyball championship (their official championship debut is scheduled for October 26 at Pala Grotte against Lecce). Saturday, September 27, 2025, will be the first test for the team coached by Giuseppe Barbone, who will play a joint training session in Galatina with Green Volley Galatone, another team registered for the upcoming Serie A3 tournament.
“As we’ve always said in this first phase of the season,” commented Coach Barbone, “an intense journey awaits us because we need to be ready right away to face a very difficult start to the championship. We’re approaching the athletic preparation with great spirit. I must thank the staff for their work, but also the boys for their willingness to play right away. Now it’s time for the field: we know we have a largely renewed roster and we know it will take time to see the best possible volleyball. But the journey has just begun, and with hard work and commitment, it will bring us the results we expect.”
