Our boys played four sets of solid volleyball in their fourth test match of the season, the first at home at PalaSguaitzer, against Conad Reggio Emilia, their direct opponent in the upcoming Serie A3 Credem Banca tournament. The final score favored the visitors, who won all four sets (22-25, 20-25, 18-25, 13-15), but their growth continues, and coach Radici has still received important guidance.
This is also because, and this is by no means an excuse, yesterday we were without both Leonardo Baciocco, who was rested as a precaution due to knee inflammation, and Omar El Moudden, who is also dealing with knee issues (following the match against Acqui Terme) and is undergoing a medical evaluation. Matteo Maiocchi, however, returned for a few rallies, albeit only on the second line, as he continues his recovery.
