The Volley Market in Bologna has proven to be a must-see event for the Italian volleyball world, and among the participants is Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, represented by a significant portion of its management.
Among them, the presence of sporting director Cesare Pellegrino stands out.
Pellegrino reviewed the past season and revealed his ambitions for the future, in an increasingly passionate and engaged city.
“The Volley Market? It’s a key event for us to compete with the Superleague and Serie A2 teams,” Pellegrino began. “This is our second year participating, and it allows us to explore new mechanisms to replicate last season’s success. The market is an opportunity to grow and learn from more established teams.”
Domotek is preparing to face a 10-team group in Serie A3, with some changes compared to the previous season. “We’ll have more time to recharge during the holidays, unlike last year when we played at Christmas,” Pellegrino explained. Gioia del Colle stands out among the rivals to watch, but the sporting director is confident: “We’ve improved the team significantly. Every year we start from scratch, but we’re ready to fight to improve on the position we achieved in 2025.”
