A new arrival, a new enthusiasm. Andrea Innocenzi, the middle blocker born in 2001 in Segrate and raised in the Diavoli Rosa youth academy in Brugherio, is raring to go at home with Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria. He made no secret of his positive first impression of the city and his new volleyball family.
The player has already had the opportunity to experience the Strait of Messina, accompanied by an exceptional “guide,” the team’s libero Saverio De Santis. “Have you seen a bit of Reggio Calabria in these few hours?” we ask him. “Yes, I’ve seen a little,” he admits with a smile, “especially the waterfront in the evening. Very pretty, very pretty. Saverio showed me around, he acted as a bit of a guide for me.”

Innocenzi, who already boasts a wealth of significant experience, has been a steady growth path. Having made his Serie A3 debut with Brugherio in the 2019/2020 season, he had already had a taste of Serie A1 with Milan the year before. He then consolidated his position in Serie A3 for four consecutive seasons, even earning the captain’s armband in his final year at Brugherio (2022/2023), where he posted an impressive points tally: 388 total points, 124 of which came from his effective blocks.
