In the splendid setting of the FIPAV Pavesi Center in Milan, Pallavolo La Bollente trained with Allianz Milano. It was a simple test match ahead of the championship, irrelevant from a result perspective, but one that makes the Acqui team proud, as it is the first time in their history they have faced a Superleague team.

The match consisted of six mini-sets to fifteen (16/14, 16/14, 7/15, 14/16, 15/8, 15/9), where the two teams rotated all their available players and tested various game situations in a match that was highly volatile and largely balanced.

At the end of the practice, Coach Totire commented with satisfaction on what he saw on the court: “First of all, I thanked the Milan management for inviting us and giving us this opportunity. I hope it was also useful technically for them, and I think so, because they were six enjoyable sets to watch. We played pretty well with the first six. We were interested in working on our transitions, and we did some important things. Clearly, there are some issues, and rightly so at this point; it would be unthinkable if everything was already working perfectly. With the other sixes, the boys played well, demonstrating they can keep up the pace. We’re going home satisfied with the goal we had set ourselves.”
