With less than a month to go before the start of preseason training, Rinascita Volley Lagonegro is enjoying the last remnants of summer vacation and preparing for a historic year: the 2025/2026 season will mark the tenth consecutive year in the national top division, with Credem Banca returning to Serie A2.
From Buenos Aires, coach Waldo Kantor is already hard at work, determined and excited for his next adventure. There’s no summer that can hold back the Argentine coach; in a few weeks, things will really start in earnest: we took the opportunity to outline the guidelines for the upcoming season with him.
“First of all, I’d like to thank all the guys, both players and staff, who will no longer be with us this year,” Kantor begins. “They did an exceptional job contributing to the extraordinary promotion to Serie A2: it’s also thanks to them that we were able to celebrate. My first thought is right.”
