Having passed the first step of the Playoff Semifinal against CUS Cagliari with flying colors (3-0), the countdown to the second act of the series has begun for Rinascita Volley Lagonegro, which will take place early on Saturday, April 12 (7:00 p.m.) in the Sardinian capital, at PalaPirastu.

As usual, coach Waldo Kantor gave the boys Monday off to recover from the fatigue of the match and resume preparation on Tuesday, with physical and technical-tactical work sessions alternating between the weight room and the gym.

We start again from the indications inherited from Game 1, from the performance offered and from the numbers. Cagliari was very good at holding out in the first set (and the partial score of 28-26 is proof of this), then Lagonegro took the measure and controlled the situation well, improving step by step its percentages both in attack and reception. In this regard, it is worth highlighting the final 54% in the offensive phase, with Diego Cantagalli MVP and author of 27 points, 65% positivity in attack and three blocks. The central chain formed by the Tognoni-Pegoraro duo also worked (respectively 5 and 7 points on the scoresheet and a total of 50% in attack for both), which Sperotto relied on in certain phases of the match to break through the Cagliari wall with their proverbial attacks in the first half. Finally, the service was also positive (77 to 68 in favor of Rinascita), the reception phase (47% efficiency) and the contribution of the block (7 winners in total)
