Sunday 6 April 2025 will remain an unforgettable date for Jacopo Tosti, who at just sixteen years old wrote a special page in his young career by becoming the youngest debutant in the Credem Banca Superleague wearing the Cisterna Volley jersey. In the match won 3-0 against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, the talent from Pontine entered the field contributing with two points – an ace and an attack – to crown an already positive evening for the team.

“The match against Grottazzolina was certainly a great emotion – says Jacopo, under 17 world champion with Italy last summer – Making your debut at home, in front of a thousand spectators, is always something special. Even more beautiful was doing it with my mother, my family and my girlfriend present in the stands to support me. I want to thank the coach and all of Cisterna Volley for the opportunity that was given to me: I hope I have repaid it and I hope there will be other opportunities in the future”.

Jacopo Tosti’s journey in Cisterna started a long time ago, thanks to the fruitful collaboration with Marino Pallavolo: “Having the privilege of being part of this group is certainly a great satisfaction, because training every day with the high-level players of Italian volleyball is a constant challenge. It was complicated, but also very beautiful: every day coming to the gym and training is an important experience for me. The relationship I have established with them is very beautiful.
