The SuperLega Credem Banca arenas still echo with the roars of the fans and the smashes of a fifth round of the Regular Season that was brimming with intensity, spectacle, and dramatic twists, but the volleyball continues. Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19th, at 8:30 PM, the final match of the sixth round will be played at the Allianz Cloud between the hosts Allianz Milano, who are in the round of 16 with seven points so far, and Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina.

This is the fourth global face-off between the Milanese and Marche teams after three last year. The only previous meeting at the Milanese stadium saw the home team win 3-1 in the first round of the 2024/25 tournament. Yuasa’s comeback came in the return leg with a tie-break victory in the marathon match at the PalaSavelli. The Milanese team’s 3-0 victory in the 5th Place Playoff Group felt like a tiebreaker between the two teams, but now a new chapter begins, and both teams need points. Roberto Piazza’s men are coming off a peculiar match, with some regrets about the end of the third set in a match that Allianz—at home to Sonepar Padova—could have put away with a swift victory on Saturday.
