The Italian runners-up will return to the gym this afternoon to prepare for their trip to the PalaBancaSport for the fifth round of the Regular Season, scheduled for Sunday, November 16th (6:00 p.m.) against Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza. Meanwhile, Cucine Lube Civitanova’s brilliant victory against Rana Verona in the sixth early round of the Regular Season, securing provisional top spot, earned the team’s management congratulations.

This is far from a given after a preseason marred by the absences of the world champions and other national teams playing in the Philippines. The work of athletic trainer Max Merazzi and the medical staff has been excellent. During their long tenure at the club, they have distinguished themselves for their ability to overcome any member issues and develop the athletes.

Max Merazzi (Athletic Trainer, Cucine Lube Civitanova):

“In my opinion, we haven’t done anything special, neither in terms of the work and progress made so far, nor in terms of results. It must be said that we’ve started the season well; we’re a team that wants to shine and has good characteristics, but so far we haven’t achieved anything extraordinary in the current tournament.
