Luca Porro is a new spiker for Modena Volley for the 2025/2026 season.
A Ligurian from Genoa, born in 2004, Porro is in his third consecutive year in the SuperLega after two excellent seasons played in Padua. He began his career in Serie B with Consorzio Global Colombo Genova and subsequently played with Pordenone in both A2 and A3 from 2021 to 2023.
With the national team, in addition to being the best spiker first in the victory of the Under 18 European Championship in 2020 and then in the success achieved at the Under 20 European Championship in 2022, his participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics stands out.
These are the words of Sporting Director Casadei: “Luca Porro is a player that we strongly wanted in Modena. His most important characteristics are in attack and service and given his young age he has ample room for improvement in all the fundamentals. In these last two seasons he has measured himself with very good results in the SuperLega also finding space in the national team, he will have to grow, his young age also helps him in this, he will be a fundamental piece for our team”.
Now the new adventure in Modena to continue to be a protagonist also with the yellow and blue jersey.
