After three away test matches, with an overall record of one win (3-1 at Negrini CTE Acqui Terme), one draw (2-2 at PalaTrento against Trentino Volley), and one loss (0-4 at the PalaPanini stadium), Gabbiano Farmamed Mantova is preparing to take to the field for the first time in front of its fans.
Tomorrow evening, Wednesday, September 24th, starting at approximately 7:00 PM, Conad Reggio Emilia will be at PalaSguaitzer for their fourth joint training session of this preseason. Coach Tommaso Zagni’s team is packed with former white-and-blue players: Riccardo Scaltriti, Mattia Catellani, and Andrea Marini, who played on Mantua’s soil until last year, will be returning to Mantua.
“Another significant test,” explains sporting director Nicola Artoni, “against a team we’ll also face in the league, fresh from a relegation but eager to immediately return to the forefront. I believe Reggio’s squad has been equipped with the aim of trying to immediately regain Serie A2.”
