It was an intense and unusual morning for Modena Volley players and staff. Anzani and his teammates took part in a significant team-building event at the Equilibrium climbing gym on Via del Tirassegno in Modena.
Taking stock of the Gialloblù situation, just days before the Super League debut scheduled for Monday, October 20th (8:00 PM) in Milan, opposite hitter Paul Buchegger said: “We’re finally back! We couldn’t wait to get back on the court, and we’re fired up to tackle this season. The last two tournaments have shown that we have a very deep roster with plenty of resources; I think we’ll need that to compete until the end of the league season. There’s also healthy competition for the starting spot at opposite hitter, which is positive because it encourages everyone to give their all. We can go far; time will tell what we’re capable of, but I’m very confident. Milan? They’re also a team with many options; we know many of the players, but we don’t yet know how they play as a team.
“This morning we hosted the athletes for a team-building activity,” added instructor Gianluca Sirotti, “in which they took a climbing lesson. We had them try out several of the opportunities we offer here at the Equilibrium gym, and the team participated very positively.
