The curtain is about to rise, the SuperLega show is upon us. Vero Volley Monza, before a crowd at the Opiquad Arena, will host Sir Susa Scai Perugia on Tuesday, October 21st for a five-star debut. Before the big match, however, there will be another test, the last of the eight-week preseason for coach Massimo Eccheli’s team. Tomorrow afternoon, the Brianza team will play at the PalaBancaSport in Piacenza against Gas Sales Bluenergy.

A joint training session—warm-up scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM—will provide the coaching staff with much to learn ahead of the upcoming start of the championship. After the encouraging performances in the Quarto Trofeo Ferramenta Astori, Vero Volley will be looking for further confirmation against an opponent they will face again during the regular season.

A special test match for Leonardo Scanferla, the libero who joined Monza this summer after six seasons with Piacenza. “The start of the season is now approaching, and we’re really eager to do well,” commented the Rossoblu second-string star. “Last weekend, at the Astori Trophy, we showed some great things, and we intend to continue on that path. Against Piacenza,” Scanferla concluded, “it will be a challenging test that will show us our true potential.”
