Modena Volley’s 2025/2026 season will officially kick off on Wednesday morning, August 20th, with the first training session in the weight room.

Libero players Filippo Federici and Luke Christopher Perry, spiker Jacopo Massari, and middle blocker Luca Tauletta will begin training immediately. Several players from the yellow-blue Serie B team will also be present.

Players currently playing for their respective national teams will join the group later. Amir Tizi-Oualou and Pardo Mati are expected to compete in the Under-21 World Championships in China starting August 18th with France and Italy, while Vlad Davyskiba will be playing for Belarus in a tournament with other national teams, including Russia, Egypt, and Iran. Paul Buchegger is busy qualifying for Euro 2026. Simone Anzani, Luca Porro, and Giovanni Sanguinetti with Italy, Matias Giraudo with Argentina, Arthur Bento with Brazil, and Ahmed Ikhbayri with Libya are working hard to prepare for the World Cup, which will be played in the Philippines from September 12 to 28.
