Market in turmoil for Avimecc Modica that adds a new piece to its roster, in view of the next championship of series A3, where the white and blue “Galletti” will aim to be among the protagonists again.

The sextet of the Contea welcomes the class of 2002 Lorenzo Bertozzi, who arrives in the shadow of the Castello dei Conti to wear the white and blue jersey of Avimecc Modica after the long American experience.

193 centimeters tall, Lorenzo Bertozzi is originally from Parma. From 2019 to 2021 he wore the jersey of WiMore Energy Parma and then moved to the States where he defended the colors of Cal State Northridge University.

“I am very happy to be back in Italy after these four long years in the United States – these are Lorenzo Bertozzi’s first words as a player of Avimecc Modica – It is a special emotion to be able to resume my volleyball journey in my homeland. I chose Modica because I received excellent feelings from the first contact with the company. They have always spoken highly of Sicily, of the warmth of the people, of the culture and of the passion for the sport. I can’t wait to discover the city, to meet the fans and to live this new adventure of mine with enthusiasm, bringing with me energy and desire to win on the court. From the new season – he continues – I expect a very high level and intense competition.
