A return that feels like home, a name that has left its mark. Gioiella Prisma Taranto is proud to announce the return of Oleg Antonov, a highly experienced and talented spiker, who will once again wear the red and blue colors for the 2025/2026 season.
Born in 1988, 198 cm of power and technique, Antonov is an athlete with an extraordinary curriculum: 137 appearances with the Italian national team, silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, bronze at the 2015 European Championships, and a career with top-level clubs in Italy and abroad. After his previous experience in Taranto in the 2022/2023 season, with which he achieved the goal of salvation, Oleg continued his professional career in Qatar at Al Rayyan S.C. and in Russia at NOVA Novokuybyshevsk, before arriving in Grottazzolina, where he played an excellent season, contributing once again with charisma and quality to the achievement of salvation.
Now Taranto finds one of its most beloved players, ready to get back into the game and give everything for the rossoblù cause, with his power in attack, his deadly service and that silent leadership that distinguishes him.
