The new assistant coach of Cisterna Volley will be coach Paolo Falabella, who will join the new head coach Daniele Morato at the helm of the team for the 2025/2026 season. Despite his young age, Falabella brings with him a consolidated international experience: in the last year in Switzerland, at the helm of Volley Amriswil, he won the Swiss Cup, the Swiss League and the Super Cup, also achieving a prestigious placement for the Swiss club in the CEV Cup, in 2023 he was also part of the technical staff of the Moroccan national team.
Born in Lagonegro in 1986, graduated in Motor Sciences and specialized in Sports Science and Technique, Paolo Falabella is also a national Fipav teacher. After having led important Serie A teams such as Lagonegro, Aversa and Bari as head coach, and having served as assistant coach in Siena in the 2021/2022 season – which culminated with promotion to the Superleague – Falabella is now ready to put his technical and human baggage at the service of Cisterna Volley.
«I am truly delighted to be able to begin this experience in Cisterna – coach Falabella’s first words –. For me, it will be the first year in the Superleague: I have come close to it several times, but due to a series of circumstances I had never managed to get there. For this reason, today I am even happier to be able to do it, and in particular to do it with Cisterna Volley.»
