The 2005 class, originally from Catania, in fact, after the great experience of last season has convinced the management of the white and blues to focus on him again to make him grow further alongside the veteran Vincenzo Nastasi.
“To be honest – explains Biagio Pappalardo – I expected this confirmation at Avimecc Modica, because I believe I have earned the trust that the technical staff and management have placed in me. Last season I worked hard in the gym every day to try to improve myself on a personal level and to give my contribution when I was called upon. Working alongside Vincenzo Nastasi who, in my role is a veteran, was an important help for my growth, because he allowed me to take care of some technical details that I was missing and who better than him could do it. Last season – he continues – the group factor allowed us to have a good championship and the compactness in the locker room allowed us to overcome the difficult moments. All this was also possible thanks to the great work done off the field by our captain Stefano Chillemi. I believe that, also for next season we will be able to create a good group, advantaged by the fact that many of us already know each other and it will be easier for us to integrate the new arrivals.
