A graft of experience, quality and leadership: Belluno Volley welcomes Francesco Corrado. Spiker, born in 1997, boasts 11 seasons and almost 300 appearances in Serie A. Calabrese by origin – he was born in Crotone – he brings with him a curriculum as a protagonist, matured since his first steps in Vibo Valentia: the company that raised him and with which he spent five seasons between the top series and A2.
BIG STAGES – Accustomed to the big stages, he has been able to stand out everywhere. Like in the last year, once again spent in A2, in Palmi: despite the bitterness for the team’s relegation, Corrado has signed high-profile performances, demonstrating continuity, mental strength and excellent effectiveness in attack. Of particular note, his performances against Macerata (27 points with an excellent 73 percent in attack, the result of 24 balls put on the ground out of 33) and in Porto Viro (24 points, with 5 winning blocks). Speaking of Palmi, the paths with the rhinos had already crossed just over a year ago, on the occasion of the playoff quarterfinals.
MVP CUP – To embellish his list of achievements there is another feat: in March 2024, he won the Serie A3 Italian Cup, wearing the OmiFer Palmi jersey. And he was elected best player of the final played in Fano. In the presence of the hosts from the Marche, he totaled 25 points and led his teammates to triumph, confirming himself as a point of reference in the moments that matter.
