A new typical week begins for the Block Devils, in which Coach Lorenzetti and the coaching staff will have every day available, without midweek shifts, to best prepare for the next match, which will take the Bianconeri team away to Trento. We begin with an analysis of yesterday afternoon’s home match against Verona, from which several aspects emerged, which Coach Lorenzetti deemed positive overall: “It was a long match, so we need to make an overall assessment. It’s not good, because losing is never good, but it’s good because otherwise we think we’re already something we’re not yet. The boys were very focused; in the two sets we lost, it’s not that we needed to manage the game better, two situations weighed us down, then in the other set Verona perhaps suffered from some physical issues they also had, in the tiebreak the serve made a bit of a difference. Overall, we need to keep working like this. There’s still some residue from last year’s game that’s lingering, and that’s fine because we haven’t been together for long. We want to eliminate it, and we don’t have many things to complain about. A bit about the serve in the tiebreak and those inaccuracies in the third set, because those are manageable points.”
